Sylvie Joussaume has received a « star of Europe » award from the French Ministry of Research for her coordination of the IS-ENES2 European project. The project entitled « Infrastructure for the European Network of Earth System Modelling » is key for our climate modelling activities. The whole story is available here (in French).

Dr Martin Vancoppenolle from the IPSL Climate Modelling Centre has been awarded the WCRP/WWRP International Prize for Model Development 2017. The details of the award can be found here

The IPSL-CMC data team has received the R1D100 award for their participation to the Earth System Grid Federation ESGF project. ESGF is a collaborative peer-to-peer enterprise system that develops, deploys and maintains software infrastructure for the management, dissemination, and analysis of model and observational datasets, including the forthcoming CMIP6 data.
