The staff working for the IPSL Climate Modelling Centre (IPSL-CMC) is mainly located in two sites: (1) on the Jussieu campus in Paris and (2) at « Ormes des Merisiers » in Gif-sur-Yvette (20 km south of Paris).
Getting to the IPSL-CMC (Paris location)
Paris is served by two main airports, Roissy – Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY), respectively located on north-east and on south of Paris. Both airports are connected to Paris by Express subways (RER line B).
From « Roissy – Charles de Gaulle » airport (CDG)
- Express subway (RER line B)
- take the RER B in CDG airport in direction to St Remy-Les-Chevreuses or Massy Palaiseau, get off at St Michel-Notre Dame station
- Follow the Métro signs mentioned « correspondance », Line 10 in direction to Gare d’Austerlitz.
- take the Métro and get off at Jussieu station. Jussieu station is the third stop.
From « Orly » airport (ORY)
- Express subway (RER line B).
- take the RER B in Orly airport in direction to Charles de Gaulle airport, get off at St Michel-Notre Dame station,
